Connection-less few days...

HELLO EBERIBADI! :D

It's so nice to have some connection to my lovely ones in Singapore. Before I explain myself, I just have to say one thing:

HARPPY BUURRRFFDAYYYY
MYYYY LITTLE MOOONKKKEYYYY SHREEEEEEE!

(technically, its belated on your end, but ITS STILL THE 25th HERE!!!)

Happy Birthday my little Monkey! I'm so sorry I couldn't call you! I just had not internet and sim card to even call or oovoo! I know the rest would prolly come up with some prank on ya and I saw the PREETTTY photo Manda posted on Instagram. (^.-)v hehe! I MISS Y'ALL SO BADLY! :'( I WANNA PRANK DIVYA TOO! (and throw some flour over her!)

I am so sorry I was unable to update everyone on my school life! Its been rather chilly here with strong winds and cold freezing rain pouring on us... My umbrella broke. Yes, Broke. WHEN in Singapore, can your umbrella break during a downpour? The most, it flips up, and it's still perfectly fine once you've flipped it back. Well down here, IT BREAKS! Want an example? Here's mine friend's new umbrella she bought on Sunday :

How's that???!!! It's a real mad weather here. AND I've fallen ill with flu. Sucks to be me at times. Sigh.

Monday was rather chillaxed, with some registration and stuff. I currently have friends from HK, M'sia, China and of course, Singapore. HEH. My roomie is a HK-er. Hiu Yan's her name, but I call her Yan. I'll prolly get a photo of them sometime soon! (^.^)v  Lydia is a M'sian and Elaine is from China! Lydia and Elaine is from my course, together with Nga Kwan/Yajunn/Chloe.

Yes, she has three names. Now, at least. HAHA! She's been really nice to me, lending me her sim card for the internet. She has unlimited free data for her plan so I'm using it for the meanwhile. She's only lent it to me cos her boyfriend, Thore is here with her; so she doesn't have to text him now. HEHE! He's a good guy. Thore is really sweet to Nga Kwan and he's super gentlemanly.  He makes me miss my benny so much. I would love to have benny's cuddles. Sigh. Can't wait for him to come over here. Then it'll be my turn! I'm so excited!  (^.^) It's been really tough not talking to Ruben. So much things have been going on. I'm still waiting for my damn sim card from Giffgaff to come in. So irritating. I MISS YOU SO MUCH MY LOVE!!! <3 <3 <3

Wanna know what happened today? ITS THE MOST EPIC THING EVAAA!  \(O.O)/

Your dear friend here (ME), and her room mate (Yan), decided to get some pizza from Mark and Spencer here. (I forgot to tell you the mark and spencer here is HUGE I tell ya!) We came back and decided to use the microwave to cook it. SO, we throw it in for about 15mins and we went to do our own thing while waiting. NEXT thing we knew, when Yan went to check on it, our kitchen, WAS FILLED WITH SMOKE. Smoke so thick, we couldn't see the appliances in the kitchen. SO fucked up I tell you. Serious. Did I mention that the fire alarm sensors here are extremely sensitive?? Faggots. You can imagine what happened. I was so stupid to ask Yan to open the main door so some air could go in, that it not only triggered our room alarm but the WHOLE BUILDING's alarm. FCUK. It EVEN CAUSED AN EVACUATION BITCHES!

WTF right?? I CAUSED THE BUILDING TO EVACUATE and ALL CAUSE of a STUPID FREAKING PIZZA! You can imagine how much Nga Kwan was laughing at me. Fuck. I was freaking out like mad. Me and Yan ran out after we heard the fire alarm change from a broken interval to a full force continuous alarm. Fuck. It was the most scariest moment ever. Fuck. And it was just day 2 of my life in campus. And this happened to me. WTF!

I can imagine y'all laughing like hyenas. Shitty bombastic. Nga Kwan even made a joke out of it! HAHA. Evil. I tell you. EVIL.  sigh.  Yan and I kena warning letter and we have to see the in-charge tomorrow. Crap. Please pray for me that we don't get fined. Anyway, we are going Ikea tomorrow to get bedsheets and other crap. HAHA.

I come in to school in the most epic way ever. By testing the fire alarm system. The people who came to switch it off were prolly thinking "Crazy asian kids can't even microwave a pizza properly!" sigh. Anyway, I had a good laugh over dinner about my incident!

Okay, I'm gonna go sleep now! Let's leave this with a positive quote yeah, and may we all have a blessed day ahead!

AND that's what we should all do and that's what I am going to work for. Next week will be the actual start of school so Jia You to everyone and I hope you are all well in health and studies. God bless you all my dearies. Amin.

Settling In...

The Millennium Bridge
So, the weekends have arrived.

Its been a rather long and winding week for me. I'm really starting to settle in. Still have to keep in mind that my parents have to go off on Monday morning though. And that really bums me out. That is when the real thing starts. Monday. (sigh)

Oh boy. Tomorrow, I move in to my accommodation. Its gonna be a busy day tomorrow.

Today, was a pretty good day. My parents and I walked down to the Millennium Bridge from our hotel. We saw this awesome contemporary arts museum called the Baltic, which has taken up residence in an old refurbished Flour Mill. Its pretty awesome. The installations there are A-MA-ZING.

There was this ONE installation which was so soulful. It was an choir involving 40voices but they were all recorded separately. It was a simple installation with 40 speakers in a circle and people are invited into the centre of that circle. It was Beautiful. You could walk around near the speakers to hear each individual voice that was part of the whole choir. Superb. I couldn't take any photos but just imagine. \(o.o)/ Beautiful. It gave me chills.

Entrance of the Baltic.

It was the best. My dad got this beautiful shot of the other bridge we were facing. Its a colour shot but the light made it look monochrome.

Beautiful right? So anyway, we walked back to the Eldon Square where daddy went to the H&M and got some pants. Meh. Nothing much.

Came back and I was so touched. My love, Ruben Wong, waited up for me to come back so we could FaceTime. \(^o^)/ Imma happy girl!!! He is so sweet. My dad is worried that we would FaceTime often but I don't think its much of a problem. He makes me laugh, listens to me no matter how stupid I look or how boring my topic is. What more can I ask?? (^.^) Here's a photo of our FaceTime :

Ruben singing for me. :)

He is a sweetie. Talking about sweets, they have LOADS of SWEETS here. Its madness. So many different kinds, toffees, turkish delights, etc.

LOOK AT THAT! Its no wonder they get big fast! I really have to watch my weight and my diet here. Its crazy. Anywhoo. I have to go to sleep now cause its 10.25pm here while its 5.23am in Singapore. HooHoo. (~.~) Me is feeling sleepy as hell.

Lets end this post with a positive quote shall we? (^.-)

And YES! I believe Something WONDERFUL is going to happen!
Hope my love has fun at Lego Land. (^.^)v

Ps: I miss you all, my dearies. <3

The Big Move.

Newcastle University.

Me and Mumsie at the University
Wow. I can't believe that I'm here. Its been 3 days and counting since I've first got here on the 17th of September. The flight over was alright, with slight aches and the arrival of my "best-red-friend" who came as sudden as a turbulence in the sky.
-_-" Well, she's leaving soon already (and I bid you farewell!).

Daddy, Mummy and Me at the Sandman Signature Hotel lobby.
The weather here has been rather forgiving, with slight drizzles and the usual gusts of cold wind. But nothing rather terrifying. (o.o) The English Georgie accent here is rather thick and hard to understand but I'm getting it. They have wonderful little phrases like "Could I pop these by the till for ye?" and "Cheers!" which brings me flashbacks of Kayla Kemoly and Divya speaking in their best British accent. (I miss you all!)

My Awesome Little Monkeys.

I just love my friends, family and my dear Ruben Wong so much. They were so sweet to send me off. I was so touched that even my primary school and secondary school teachers wanted to come. :') Sunday was such an emotional night for me... It was so heartbreaking. I made it to the plane without crying but once I was in... All the floodgates opened. I cried myself to sleep thinking about everyone and of Ruben. I miss him the most.

You are my world.
Cousins and Aunts and Grandma.
They have all been so supportive of me. Can't wait to Oovoo them too! Ruben has been FaceTime-ing me everyday but as I get over my jet lag the hours have become shorter. We will stay strong I know it. \(^.^)/ Well, I'll leave this post now with a positive note! Will upload more photos A.S.A.P in the next post!

And with that, I end my post.
